Commercial UAV Expo: the first day of the Ukrainian pavilion in Las Vegas


Las Vegas hosted the grand opening of the Commercial UAV Expo 2024, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. For the first time, Ukraine was represented by the Ukrainian Pavilion, organized by nine participating companies, which drew unprecedented attention to the innovations and solutions presented by Ukrainian engineers. The first day of the event showcased the ecosystem of the latest Ukrainian advancements in modern robotics, highlighting Ukraine's remarkable ability to scale up its robotics production capabilities in an exceptionally short period.


Today, Ukraine is the largest drone manufacturer in the world. Special attention was focused not only on using technology for national security but also, and more importantly, on leveraging modern technologies to rebuild the country across various sectors. Two more eventful days lie ahead, filled with strategically important activities. The Ukrainian pavilion will feature a roundtable discussion on agriculture, showcasing the experience of Ukrainian farmers, who are leaders in Europe and internationally at the international level. This event, organized by DroneUA in partnership with John Deere, will take place on September 4th from 12:00 to 14:00 (North American Pacific Time) in room 405. In addition, on September 5th, from 11:00 to 11:45 (UTS), Fleet of Millions will host a panel discussion on the secrets behind Ukraine's success in the mass production of drones. The discussion will feature representatives from business and ecosystem companies, as well as government officials, including those from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco. Notably, the event will be opened with a video message from Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov.


Fleet of Millions is a global initiative aimed at positioning Ukraine as a reliable partner in modern robotics production. Today, Ukraine is showcasing its ability to localize the manufacturing of high-tech components and devices. In just 2.5 years, the country has transformed an existing industry into the largest project of its kind worldwide. The expertise gained is attracting significant interest from stakeholders in various countries, positioning Ukraine as a sought-after partner in developing and constructing high-tech manufacturing ecosystems globally.
